What, the review challange is still going on? Didn't I fail that twenty times over all ready? Oh well, it's the last day so I'll give you something good. Or at least as good as it gets when you have the flu and can't go out trick or treating this year NAAARRRGGG -_- I know I'm 17 and REALLY shouldn't be trick or treating, but if they are giving free candy, I might as well dress up and try my luck.

Franken Fran

I'll admit it. I only read a few chapters or so of this. One chapter was all it took to break me. This manga is about a cutsey Frankenstein girl who goes around fixing people. They usually have some problem like "I don't know which boy I should go out with" or "Oh noes, the chick I like got hit by a bus! Save her plz :c" And so she does. With HORRIBLE. IRONIC. CONSEQUENSES! In most cases at least. Fran isn't evil, she just does whatever she can to save peoples lives. It is a good manga with a strange premise and dark humour, but it isn't for the faint of heart and your never safe from a horrible ending, not even when your at the last page.

The chapter I'll be taking a look at is the second one. I saw some people saying that it looks like things are getting better, but the horror comes out of no where. Thus, I had to read it. So, thisguy confesses his love to his classmate and gets rejected. She storms off and Wham! Hit by a bus. It just so happens that Fran and her gand were walking by. Desperate to save the girl he loves, even though she let him down in the dickish way possible, he begs Fran to save her. And so she does. The girl wakes up to find she's alive... and also to find her body has been replaced with a giant caterpillar body. Y'know, I thought that this was the horror. She was going to be fixed but now she's a caterpillar? But as things move along, you see her relationship with the boy grow and you think to yourself "Aw, this is kind of cute now... wait... looks like things are gonna be all right and then.. oh god dammit!" Yes, the girl gets her body back and is now a couple with the bumbling boy. The second last page shows them shyly confessing that they "haven't done this before" if you know what I mean, hur hur hur. Next page, first panel you see little breath puffs and "Ow that hurts" "Sorry are you okay?" Ah, the awkwardness of adolences first love. Now let's just scroll down the page and- OH GOD WTF!?!?! MY EEEYEEES MY HAPPY ENDING NAAARRG!!! I'm not telling you what happended as, well, you need to see it for your self (I mean, yeah I spoiled the fact something actually DOES happen at the end but still) I don't get free candy? You don't get free super spoilerz. Because I am an evil, bitter person.
